Heat and Frost Insulators Local #1 125th Anniversary
The Event:
With a special opportunity to embrace our more formal side, Blank Slate organized the Heat & Frost Insulators Union, Local #1’s 125th Anniversary Celebration. This was a corporate-style program that relied on our precise timing and coordination with the presenter, kitchen, venue staff and more to keep the dinner presentation and ceremonies running smoothly.
The Challenge:
Not only was Blank Slate tasked with planning a quality dinner and engaging party for 800 people at the St. Charles Convention Center, but we also created a commemorative video and print booklet from the ground up for the event.
We were on site throughout the evening to keep the programming and presentations running on cue, provide support for the event’s special guest presenter (former St. Louis Blue, Reed Low) and serve as the central point of communication for all key entities involved.
The Blank Slate Solution:
Thanks to our multi-talented team members who lend their creative skills to help create unique collateral, merchandise or branding for an event–and the close industry connections we maintain to help produce materials in a timely manner–Blank Slate can really boost the aesthetics and add value to events like this. We were able to deploy our diverse array of talents to design and assemble a first-class print booklet to commemorate the occasion, as well as identify and direct a video subcontractor to capture the stories and memories of the union’s members.
During the event, Blank Slate worked closely with the union’s leaders and the St. Charles Convention Center to execute a fantastic meal in a beautifully laid out venue. In the end, we were able to deliver a memorable program with speeches, videos, photo slideshows, and a kick-ass live band!
THE RESULTS:
Blank Slate delivered a smooth, entertaining program and a fantastic meal for 800 Local 1 union members celebrating their 125th anniversary at the St. Charles Convention Center.
Heat and Frost, LU #1 used Blank Slate for our 125th Anniversary celebration. The evening turned out wonderful! The room was elegant, the band was exceptional, and the small touches that they added lent perfectly to the ambiance. Several weeks post-dinner we were still getting compliments on just how wonderful the evening went.
